Yeva Dashevsky is an Uzbekistan-born, New York City-raised photographer, director, writer, cinematographer, editor and producer currently based in Chicago.
Growing up in New York City and frequently carrying a camera, Yeva’s love of documentary and street photography started as a teenager.
Yeva studied filmmaking at NYU as well as theater with off-Broadway pioneer Gene Frankel and acting legend Anne Jackson.
Yeva has shot and edited numerous short subject documentaries and a two part cable documentary series.
Yeva is dedicated to collaboration with other artists and has been fortunate to work with incredible musicians and choreographers to create live multimedia performances and music videos.
A short narrative fiction film Yeva wrote, directed and produced is currently in post production, and she is excited to take on more long form projects in the shape of feature films and photographic series.
